What is over dimensional cargo (ODC)?
ODC is cargo whose dimensions exceed standard transport limits. It may need special equipment, route surveys, permits and handling plans, depending on the load and the route.
What is out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo?
OOG cargo extends beyond standard container dimensions. Depending on the cargo, flat-rack or open-top equipment, breakbulk movement or another method may be considered.
What details do you need for a project cargo assessment?
Send the origin and destination, number of pieces, dimensions and gross weight of each piece, packing type, target schedule, and any available cargo drawings or photographs.
